Q. What are the admission requirements?

A. To determine if our environment is right for you, an assessment is completed by our trained professional nurse and a medical report is obtained from your physician. If the medical assessments meet the long term care criteria, then we will work with you to facilitate your admission.

Q. If we choose Private Choice Care, can we remain on a waitlist with Alberta Health Services (AHS) Transition Service for a funded bed at Wentworth Manor?

A. Yes. Wentworth Manor works in partnership with AHS. There are both Private Choice Care and funded beds available within Wentworth Manor. There is a lengthy waitlist within Wentworth Manor for a funded bed, as such it is the resident/family responsibility to work with and confirm waitlist with AHS Transition Services.

Q. Do you provide transportation to outside appointments?

A. No, this is the responsibility of the resident. If needed, we can assist with taxi, handibus and companion arrangements.

Q. Do you allow electric scooters or electric wheelchairs in the building?

A. No, electric scooters and electric wheelchairs can be utilized outside the property, however not within the Wentworth Manor Property.

Q. Is this a smoke free Manor?

A. Yes, this is a smoke free Manor. Smoking is not permitted on the property.

Q. Can I bring my pet to visit?

A. Yes, visiting pets are welcome, but they may not reside within the building.
